Link to your islands

Hey guys,
I just discovered (possibly after everyone else) that the actual web address for each island is different. For example, my capital island is accessible through this hyperlink.
It would be much easier to trade and provide military assistance if we had a direct link to your islands (instead of having to search for the coordinates) so please post hyperlinks or addresses to each of your colonies in your signature and on this forum. I'll change my signature to provide an example.

That is nifty. I updated mine. To get the right hyperlink to show up in the address bar I had to click "Show Town" for each of my respective towns.

Surprised we can do this actually.

Apparently you also have to remember to set your preference to always show your signature... Neutral

yeah, i'm pretty sure there are rules against this on the official forums, but i doubt there's any problem with an internal alliance page. the problem is that if someone from DeniD found this site, for example, they would have coords on all our cities.

Another important thing: Make sure that the link is to your island, NOT just your town, otherwise others won't be able to access the link unless they have a spy in your town.
Also, only people who are members of the boards are able to access these threads, and I do monitor the members, so it shouldn't be a security issue.

Yeah, that would be a really bad idea.
I also haven't posted anything on the external alliance page about the forum yet, and am debating whether or not I should--it could be good for recruiting but also bad for security.
So for now the forum address will be given out to non-alliance members on a word-of-mouth basis, if that's allright.

I think that we should definitely keep to member only knowledge at this time until we can figure out how to moderate levels of the members so new members can't see some of the private information.

Yes, you need to upgrade the Palace to level 3 before you can found a 4th Colony

lol. It takes forever, but yes, that is what is required. Wait till you need to upgrade your palace to level 4, just ask Bodhi!

Your warehouse needs to be a level 10.
And a lot of people will be willing to help with materials, just post under the trade request section.

i just started palace level 4 to be able to build a 5th city, which was 49,000 wood / 27,000 marble / 22,000 crystal / 11,000 wine... took me forfreakinever. Cool
